Endoscopy - Edoscopy

Various endoscopes, made of flexible optical fibers, are used to examine hollow internal organs or spaces in the human body, allowing doctors to directly observe the condition of internal organs. If lesions are suspected, biopsies can be taken for further examination by pathologists. Commonly used endoscopic examinations include esophagoscopy, gastroscopy, duodenoscopy, colonoscopy, rectoscopy, nasopharyngoscopy, bronchoscopy, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy.
